Children below the age of 8 will not be provided with additional beds. They can utilise the sofa-cum-beds in the cabin to sleep.
You usually book villas on websites such as Airbnb and Saffron Stays. These properties are typically one single unit or bungalow, with a common living room and attached bedrooms. Our concept of an open villa is having a large living room out in the open, and bedrooms located adjacently but as separate cabins. This means you get to have the the entire resort to yourself. This gives you the freedom to use Nakshatra as you please during gatherings, and retreat in the comforts of your own space later on.
DURING THE WEEKENDS (Friday to Monday)
We do not offer cabins to be booked individually. You can only book the entire property. Ideally it is suitable for group sizes between 6 to 20 people. (12 accommodated in cabins and 8 in camping tents)

Yes. However please drink only as much as you can manage. We do not sell alcohol. So if you must indulge, please get your own liquor. If you are sharing the property with other guests, please do not drink in the common areas.
We have pre-set meals, and no A La-carte. Nakshatra is located several kilometers from the market. Therefore, it is very challenging to procure ingredients to serve you. Therefore, we work on a preorder basis.
We realise that pets are our phenomenal companions, therefore Nakshatra is pet friendly. However, please keep pets outdoors in covered spaces. Do not get pets inside the rooms on the beds or sofas. We expect our guests to get their own pet food as stocking up pet food is not a practical option for us. Please make sure that your pet does not disturb the harmony of other guests.
2) 90% refund is applicable for cancellations within 8 days of the check-in. For example – If your booking is for Saturday Jan 20th, 90% of booking amount shall be refunded if you cancel the booking by Friday Jan 12th.
3) No date changes or refunds will be entertained for any cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled check-in date.
4) No date changes or refunds will be entertained for any stays during the 3-Day Holidays, Long Weekends, Diwali, Christmas and New Years (26 Dec – 1 Jan) period.

“Velhe offers different patterns of beauty in different seasons.
Summer: Summers are hot but it is a great time for some seasonal fruits. Also, it cools down at night even during the summers, so the nights are usually pleasant. Summers offer some incredible sunsets at Nakshatra. The best part about summers is there is firefly season towards the end of Summer. Firefly territory starts just a couple of kilometers away from Nakshatra. So these couple of weeks is when you can give yourself and your loved ones a lifetime of memories.
Monsoon: When it rains in Velhe, it pours. Velhe is Rice territory. So Monsoons are buzzing with plantation activities. We will be happy to take you to a rice plantation expedition if you so wish. The experience of getting drenched in pure natural water is amazing. What a lot of our guests also enjoy is sipping hot coffee in the private porch while watching the rain. The white noise of the pouring rain is just what the mind needs to calm down and rejuvenate.
Winters: Winters are a pleasant time during the day and become chilly as the sun sets. There are several harvest festivals and events to celebrate during this time. A cold wintery night is also a great time for barbecue conversations around a bonfire. What we enjoy the most during this time is turning off all the ambient lights, lying down in the lawn with a warm blanket on, and looking at the infinity above and the infinity within.

Option 2: You can fill out an enquiry form from our Contact page and we will call you asap. You can then proceed with your booking by transferring the amount to our bank account. Once you have paid 100% of room tariff, your booking shall be confirmed.
Option 3: We also have an option for you to check the booking availability online, and make the booking by completing the online checkout process.
4 people can comfortably sleep in each cabin. We have 3 cabins, so there are comfortable beds available for 12 people. If your group size is more than 12, we will be able to provide you with mattresses or we can accommodate additional people in simple camping tents. Currently, we do not recommend Nakshatra for a group of more than 20 people.
Booking Individual Cabins
Apart from the King bed available in each cabin which comfortably sleeps 2 guests, we have a sofa-cum-bed which can sleep additional 2 guests. We cannot accommodate more than 4 guests per cabin.
We require an Indian Government recognised valid photo ID and address proof for each guest. The documents accepted are – Aadhar, Driving License or Passport. For children, we request you to carry a valid age proof in addition to their ID proof.
Wifi facility is not available in the nearby region. Therefore, we cannot offer wifi to our guests.
Jio works best in the vicinity of Nakshatra. Full mobile and internet coverage is available for Jio. No mobile or internet coverage is available for other service providers.
Here is what the food may look like. However, there may be changes to this pre set menu. Please treat the below as a guideline and not a commitment.
Breakfast: 1 common dish like Pohe, Upma, etc. as per availability. Eggs can be provided upon request (subject to availability). Tea and coffee is provided along with the breakfast.
High Tea: Usually a limited quantity of a small snack like Kanda Bhaji, Sandwiches as per availability are provided in the evening along with biscuits, tea and coffee.
Lunch and Dinner: Usually includes One dry veg / non-veg item, One gravy veg / non-veg item, Chapatis / Bhakri, Salad, Papad, Pickle, Dal and Rice. Limited quantity of sweet is usually provided along with Lunch or Dinner.
